National Education Program in Beijing
Two of our Secondary Six students participated in the National Education Program in Beijing from 19 to 27 December 2008. It is an activity organized by the EDB, aiming to develop student leaders the knowledge of our nation. Our students Chan Yin Tung (6A) and Yu Hau Yan(6A) joined the program and spent 10 days in Beijing attending courses in RenminUniversity. They visited many historical sites such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and the Yuen Ming Garden. After the trip, they wrote a reflection and conducted a small-scale group research on the comparison of living styles between Beijing and Hong Kong youngsters. A presentation was made at the EDB Kowloon office on 6 March. Both students get to know our motherland a lot more after the program.
