2008 Overseas Study Tour–a chance tolearn and explore!

  From 16 July to 2 August 2008, forty S.3 to S.6 students

joined the Overseas Study Tour 2008 organised by the English Language Department. These students, together with 4 teachers, stayed in different home-stay families in Ipswich, a little town near Brisbane, Australia.

During the tour, our students attended different fascinating

language lessons about the Australian culture. They also participated in interesting and exhilarating activities such as boomerang painting, koala spotting and horse riding.

Some students also showed their creativity and made use

of what they had learnt in their studies when working on their creative projects. These students were highly praised by the local teachers. The teachers there even commented that our students were the best among all the Asian groups they had received.

The students are now working on their memoirs, which will

be published in November. Please contact the English Language Department for details.
