Our student Kwan Wing Yan, Kathy from S.1D joined the Standard Chartered Hong Kong English Public Speaking Contest 2009 organized by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and she got the Championship. Over 970 students in Hong Kong participated in the preliminary rounds and about 40 of them were selected into the Semi Final. Then, the top 5 students were selected to enter the Grand Final. Kathy had a confident performance and she did exceptionally well in making use of her voice, intonation, stress and other body language to convey the message of her speech. Her hard work was appreciated by a group of professional judges and she was awarded the champion in the junior division of this contest. Congratulations on her wonderful achievement!
