Chinese Debating Competition
Our school’s Chinese Debating Team joined the debating competition held by Caritas Hong Kong Youth and Community Service from October to December 2008. 24 secondary schools in Hong Kong competed for the championship. Despite fierce competition, our school got the 1st runner-up in the Final. 6B Lai Ming Chak, 6B Lo Ka Hei and 4D Chan Mei Yi were awarded the Best Debater Prize in different rounds of the competition including the First, the Semi-final, and the Final. These are the first awards that the Chinese Debating Team has got since its establishment three years ago. The Chinese Debating Team of our school is greatly encouraged by these achievements and will strive for their very best in the future competitions to come.
